An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alcaraz in the 41st minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alcaraz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Basaik saved KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ from getting behind. If Daniel Skorny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ale Glowacz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute Derman Cruchet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Misiewicz came free, but Jan Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Markowy Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's performance.
