After taking down the ball on Grêmio RK75's corner Harold Tronconi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celsinho Capixaba quite easily take care of the ball. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Celsinho Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Tronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vila Nova GO's Celsinho Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Tronconi in the 22nd minute of play. Harold Tronconi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Souto in the 25th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 51 minutes into the match, Vila Nova GO's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Lira came free, but Celsinho Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Marquez sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute of the match Vila Nova GO got a corner. Grêmio RK75's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cafu Branco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cafu Branco made a great header on Vila Nova GO's corner, it was just that Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco managed to reach the ball for a save.
