Rodriguinho Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paysandu. Deilmison van Basten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Clemente Vasconcelos made a huge save. Paysandu's Clemente Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Paysandu from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Albäck in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Vasconcelos saved Paysandu from getting behind. After 43 minutes, Mikkel Lilleland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paysandu and the ATHLETICO PRaiano players grew even worse after the yellow card.
