Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herminio Stephen ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Stephen in the 3rd minute of play. Romeo Lon charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Lon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Canalla Fuego:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Olds School Pepo a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geovânio Dracena, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido. 0-1. In the 14th minute Ricky Kalischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Virgilio Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Diguinho Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Canalla Fuego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diguinho Paraíba couldn't finish the play. Clemente Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Herminio Stephen made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Benvido. Canalla Fuego's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th minute, Herminio Stephen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olds School Pepo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Herminio Stephen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Stephen came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Kalischer in the 29th minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Jacinto Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Canalla Fuego got a corner. Olds School Pepo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diguinho Paraíba ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herminio Stephen scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Benvido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Benvido came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen. But to his dismay, Herminio Stephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Olds School Pepo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luis Gumaro in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Jonatan Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Pagomari charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Pagomari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Olds School Pepo's José Serrizuela was substituted for Hanafi Indonesianus. In the 49th match minute, Olds School Pepo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Kalischer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Herminio Stephen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clemente Benvido, 0-7. Ricky Kalischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Nicholas having to interfere. Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Stephen got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-8 in the right cross in the 71st match minute before Clemente Benvido had time to react. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Stephen in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. Clemente Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Stephen's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Jacinto Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Honcioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Stephen got free with Clemente Benvido in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Olds School Pepo booed when Canalla Fuego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canalla Fuego made a substitution. Aldo-Pedro Peto replaced Ricky Kalischer. Herminio Stephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Clemente Benvido made a huge save. Clemente Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Stephen's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jacinto Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Herminio Stephens short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Clemente Benvido to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Serrizuela in the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Herminio Stephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Benvido was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Luis Gumaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Benvido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido got control of the ball when Herminio Stephen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Gumaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olds School Pepo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
