Anastasio Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Reynaldo Savion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Israel Gomesano fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLASNIKE's protests and gave Israel Gomesano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Israel Gomesano got a free kick in the 14th minute. Vladimiro Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Ishmael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Savion having to interfere. Victorino Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Genaro Hernandez took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Egoitz. Vladimiro Egoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Gualterio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Alvaro Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Hernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Rigoberto Fe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Gualterio Estebano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Savion skillfully saved the ball. Vladimiro Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ishmael in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Bahía é Carnaval's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Hegoi came free, but Reynaldo Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Hegoi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Savion. Reynaldo Savion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Anibal Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Reynaldo Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Genaro Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, PLASNIKE's Vladimiro Egoitz got control of the ball when Alvaro Ishmael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anibal Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Savion having to interfere. With 90 minutes on the clock, Israel Gomesano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Israel Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Felipe Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahía é Carnaval and the PLASNIKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PLASNIKE booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Estebano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Savion was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the match was over Bahía é Carnaval could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PLASNIKE throughout the match.
