An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Heesen in the 9th minute of play forced KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KARAORMAN defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iona Lightfoot. The KARAORMAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iona Lightfoot should have stopped the shot. Iona Lightfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Nick Heesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iona Lightfoot. KARAORMAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nick Heesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Paúl Laime lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Georg Hagberg had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Karim Benzema's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 33rd minute, Nick Heesen made a precise shot to the right of Iona Lightfoot. KARAORMAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Heesen came free, but Iona Lightfoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iona Lightfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Heesen in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Georg Hagberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 48 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Heesen came free, but Iona Lightfoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The KARAORMAN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ágætis Byrjun were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Benzema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Georg Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Benzema in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to KARAORMAN getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ulf Prengel hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nick Heesen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iona Lightfoot was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Gert van den Bergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, KARAORMAN's goalkeeper Iona Lightfoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Heesen. Georg Hagberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Silban in the 66th minute of the match. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Misael in the 68th minute of play. Nick Heesen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iona Lightfoot came out and tried to block the shot, but Nick Heesen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 70th minute. Georg Hagberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Benzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Nick Heesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of KARAORMAN booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Misael in the 82nd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
