Zbyszek Majdoch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Svanur Oddbergsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njarðvík Vopnafirði's supporters rose to their feet, but Svanur Oddbergsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszek Majdoch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zachary Andrychowski's late challenge caught a Njarðvík Vopnafirði's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Andrychowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kusiecki SSA getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zachary Andrychowski hit a great ball. Zbyszek Majdoch made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Játgeir Vignisson sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Zbyszek Majdoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Játgeir Vignisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Játgeir Vignisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Játgeir Vignisson might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszek Majdoch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Játgeir Vignisson ran back to his position shaking his head. Zbyszek Majdoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svanur Oddbergsson in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Njarðvík Vopnafirði's Kaprasíus Randversson got control of the ball when Radomil Olejarz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wieslaw Piekarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Zbyszek Majdoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svanur Oddbergsson in the 81st minute of play. When Svanur Oddbergsson came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Njarðvík Vopnafirði fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svanur Oddbergsson couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svanur Oddbergsson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszek Majdoch saved Kusiecki SSA from getting behind. Radomil Olejarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaprasíus Randversson having to interfere. There was no doubt that Njarðvík Vopnafirði were the better team. Njarðvík Vopnafirði's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
