Peter Linkhorst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Kaprasíus Randversson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When %teams%'s Peter Linkhorst was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 5 minutes into the game. Kaprasíus Randversson was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svanur Oddbergsson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Armstrong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ögri Guðleifsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Rögnvaldur Vagnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Njarðvík Vopnafirði's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rögnvaldur Vagnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Svanur Oddbergsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Armstrong. ManagerZone Crew's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svanur Oddbergsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thorbjörn Olerius struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Kaprasíus Randversson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Crew. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svanur Oddbergsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kaprasíus Randversson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Thorbjörn Olerius sent off a good shot on target. Thorbjörn Olerius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svanur Oddbergsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Peter Linkhorst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaprasíus Randversson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Kaprasíus Randversson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ununger, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rögnvaldur Vagnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Patrick Armstrong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Njarðvík Vopnafirði's Kaprasíus Randversson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorbjörn Olerius in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rögnvaldur Vagnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njarðvík Vopnafirði's supporters rose to their feet, but Rögnvaldur Vagnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svanur Oddbergsson in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 82nd minute of play forced Njarðvík Vopnafirði's goalkeeper Kaprasíus Randversson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Linkhorst scored 5-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaprasíus Randversson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
