When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Witold Gotfryd sped through Apocalipse FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. If Witold Gotfryd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Apocalipse FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alfredão Vieira hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Witold Gotfryd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Williamson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Marcos Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gianluigi Buffon. Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Lopez struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gianluigi Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OS IMPOSSIVEIS. When OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Witold Gotfryd in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd match minute, OS IMPOSSIVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Gotfryd to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Witold Gotfryd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Gotfryd was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Gil Rocha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Lucas Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Gotfryd in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Witold Gotfryd tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Witold Gotfryd reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gianluigi Buffon. The goal made the score 0-2. Marcos Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicky Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Witold Gotfryd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Dedé de Toledo was substituted for Witold Gotfryd. In the 92nd minute, Paulo Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Marcos Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Apocalipse FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OS IMPOSSIVEIS's performance. The match ended with a win for OS IMPOSSIVEIS.
