After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ciro Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Brasil in the 22nd minute of play. Ramón Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Furtado in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Gonçalo da Silveira got a free kick in the 28th minute. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Ibar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 61st minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Olivier Gilg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo da Silveira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Orlando Nogueira. The coaching staff of AKI CORINTHIANS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alf Bålström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 0-5 came through a penalty shot after 94 played minutes, when DIPLOMATA FC PAB:s Song Xiong Hong calmly waited for AKI CORINTHIANS:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DIPLOMATA FC PAB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
