After 12 played minutes E.C.Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Moraes. 13 minutes into the match, E.C.Pelotas's goalkeeper Sobhy Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Holmgren. In the 14th minute, Shoto Doro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sobhy Paredes. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Júlíusson in the 22nd minute of play forced E.C.Pelotas's goalkeeper Sobhy Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ booed when E.C.Pelotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Juliusz Júlíusson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sobhy Paredes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fouad Cavalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sobhy Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Johannes Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 31st minute, Johannes Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murilo Neto struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ionel Bărcăuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C.Pelotas. Sobhy Paredes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Johannes Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Bărcăuan having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Shoto Doro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Leon to make the kick off. When Mariusz Mochowak fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored صبئ ئآطئجآ ةآ بئسئ's protests and gave Mariusz Mochowak a yellow card for diving instead.
