The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Bastiaro got free with Luizão Bueno in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bola07 FC's Luizão Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Bola07 FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizão Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glorioso Deportivo Cali were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Bola07 FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tzvetan Mudrov took the corner. Júlio Toscano tried in the game's 42nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Luizão Bueno. An annoying self made goal, 6-0. Luizão Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Bastiaro to make the kick off. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Bola07 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão Bueno came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Bola07 FC's Luizão Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Teofilo Mascarañas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Bola07 FC defense, Rigoberto Bastiaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luizão Bueno. The Bola07 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luizão Bueno should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Bastiaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizão Bueno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Bastiaro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 95th minute of play forced Bola07 FC's goalkeeper Luizão Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Glorioso Deportivo Cali were the better team. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
