Severino Estevez came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maido Hindpere could save by the left post. Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Estrella Roja Фк's Maido Hindpere got control of the ball when Leonardo Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Les Tigres made a substitution. Rodolfo Luken replaced Silvano Ihazintu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jule Sylta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
