Joel Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Cuesta having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Fierro in the 17th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willian Cuesta. Willian Cuesta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Otsando Fierro came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Abad was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With a little luck, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta got control of the ball when Joel Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Karl-Heinz Rummenigge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsando Fierro in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Alzamendi. The crowd rose to their feet as Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian Cuesta. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. When Peter Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Felipe Muñoz was substituted for Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Recai Nusrettin got free with Nicasio Abad in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Recai Nusrettin. Willian Cuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Peter Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Blomkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Cuesta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Cuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 65th minute of the match. Nicasio Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Muñoz went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's zone, Pietro Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Cuesta came out of the goal and Pietro Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Kosmas Banasopoulos replaced Joel Enekoitz. Willian Cuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pietro Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Pietro Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Willian Cuesta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad got control of the ball when Recai Nusrettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Pietro Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Cuesta. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pietro Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans cheered their team off the field, for while ARES FC DeusDeFutbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
