In the 14th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Estrella Roja Фк's Maido Hindpere got control of the ball when Peter Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Peter Blomkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maido Hindpere was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja Фк's Jose Vigil got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 91st minute Gökçe Yalazalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maido Hindpere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gökçe Yalazalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Don Ogazón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save.
