After taking down the ball on Intimos de Reynoso's corner Honesto Valensuela fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicasio Abad quite easily take care of the ball. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 18th minute of the match. Ovidio Roland came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles. But to his dismay, Pietro Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Katia Marto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Katia Marto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meder Muños in the 34th minute of play. Intimos de Reynoso were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honesto Valensuela took the corner. The corner ended in Honesto Valensuela almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad did a great save. Xavian Aquino charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavian Aquino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Xavian Aquino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Pietro Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Meder Muños stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match, Joel Enekoitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidio Roland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Lebigot in the 60th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Intimos de Reynoso's goalie and right to Joel Enekoitz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Intimos de Reynoso's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 67 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
