With his leg Epifanio Guerrero managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Guerrero having to make a save. Epifanio Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Hendrik Ohmer's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Epifanio Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 17th minute of play. alvarado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Esteban Đido in the 24th minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Marcos Acuña got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29th minute Sven-Hendrik Ohmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of alvarado's Epifanio Guerrero. Epifanio Guerrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evelio Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Oskitz in the 35th minute of play. Epifanio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Guerrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Hendrik Ohmer came free, but Epifanio Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsolt Szénási's late challenge caught a C.A.Esparta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zsolt Szénási helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, alvarado's Zsolt Szénási got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to alvarado getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. William Garsby hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50thth minute of the game Sven-Hendrik Ohmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but alvarado's Epifanio Guerrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Garsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute alvarado were awarded a corner. Esteban Đido went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Esteban Đido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evelio Salvadore quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. C.A.Esparta made a substitution. Adrian Arotza replaced Luis Galván. C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior was substituted for Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. After some careless play in the alvarado defense, Oswaldo Junior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Guerrero. The alvarado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Guerrero should have stopped the shot. Adrian Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 72nd minute of play forced alvarado's goalkeeper Epifanio Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Junior's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Evelio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Đido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Junior in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in alvarado's zone, Oswaldo Junior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Guerrero came out of the goal and Oswaldo Junior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Oswaldo Junior hit a great ball. 87 minutes in the game Armando Semeno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ulf Heyse. Adrian Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Oswaldo Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Epifanio Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.Esparta had won after a very even match.
