In the 29th minute Cafu Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Freire. UPTEXTIL.COM's Baltazar Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Célio Nóbrega. Leonardo Pombal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Dorival Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umberto de Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudinei Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Bueno went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Leonardo Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Botelho. UPTEXTIL.COM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Luís Eduardo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When UPTEXTIL.COM's Humberto Magalhães in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Bueno hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Umberto de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Leonel Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UPTEXTIL.COM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Leonel Meira hit a great ball. Kauan Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Branco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Dorival Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umberto de Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Allan Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Clóvis Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scarlet Speedster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPTEXTIL.COM the free kick. During the 89th minute of the match Augusto Branco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Augusto Branco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Augusto Branco got a free kick in the 90th minute. Scarlet Speedster played a much better game than UPTEXTIL.COM and deserved their victory. The UPTEXTIL.COM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
