Umberto de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Donato in the 14th minute of the match. Umberto de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gabriel Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hermanos CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Leonardo Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Pombal couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Hermanos CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarlet Speedster the free kick. A collision led to Los Hermanos CIMZ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zé Augusto Antunes hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Gilvan Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Toledo in the 68th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Elano Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
