The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Penha in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Alagoano. Denílson Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Marques in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Grandi in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Denílson Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Jurassic Monsters SA were awarded a corner. Sérgio Grandi went to the cornerflag to take it. Jurassic Monsters SA's Josué Penha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Vides was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Josué Penha sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Régis Marinho got a free kick in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Madureira during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Madureira to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Penha. Josué Penha scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Grandi came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurassic Monsters SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
