A sloppy throw-in by Leonel Antunes in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Primatas FC's Jerônimo Guerra. The audience was convinced that Mai Bin Kuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matt Ryan was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Michel Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Teodoro Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Lindblom during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, Teodoro Moreno notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Primatas FC's Michel Čech. Michel Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pitin Sánchez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Moreno was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Teodoro Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Robert Macaneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Primatas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Moreno came free, but Michel Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
