In the 9thth minute of the game McDonald Hamburger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Mané Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's McDonald Hamburger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mané Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. McDonald Hamburger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. He Yuan Wen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. McDonald Hamburger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mané Pinho made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by McDonald Hamburger in the 20th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Mané Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from McDonald Hamburger in the 24th minute of play. Matias Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Tinoco in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Čech saved ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marzagão's goalkeeper Mané Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Fabiano Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Pinho came out of the goal and Fabiano Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute McDonald Hamburger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Gaspar got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brooks Shields. Mané Pinho made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when McDonald Hamburger sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Matias Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Tinoco in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position.
