In the 4th minute, AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pedro Cearense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AF CERRADO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pedro Cearense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense got a free kick in the 4th minute. Lino Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Alessandro Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AF CERRADO's Lino Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Trancoso in the 12th minute of play. After 17 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Pinheiro. Lino Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Agua Santa's Alessandro Trancoso in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 32 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Dinei Cearense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maicon Gonçalves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Dedê Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lino Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AF CERRADO's Lino Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Trancoso in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Laércio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agua Santa's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Trancoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Lino Araújo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Araújo having to interfere. Alessandro Trancoso in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Araújo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yan Alves hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Enrique Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Araújo having to interfere. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Alessandro Trancoso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dinei Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Alcântara in the 86th minute of play. Lino Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Lino Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Cearense. In the 91st minute, Severino Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agua Santa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
