An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Velloso in the 33rd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Gino Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maicon Gonçalves made a kick off. Charles Marques replaced Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho. In the 60th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Rosa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Glauco Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobo Guará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glauco Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Gino Cerezo got control of the ball when Maicon Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. AF CERRADO's Lino Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Tande in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Tande came free, but Lino Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Cerezo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gil Velloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Gino Cerezo was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Maicon Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maicon Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Maicon Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gino Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Wiliam Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobo Guará the free kick. In the 81st match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Glauco Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Velloso in the 86th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Gino Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gil Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gil Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Velloso couldn't finish the play. When the match was over AF CERRADO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lobo Guará throughout the match.
