Leopoldo Sanches shot from long distance in the 17th minute, but Jardel Fernandez was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 19th minute, Komen Grama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mineiro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Augusto Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when José Augusto Novaes came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Augusto Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the match was over ITAFUT 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E.R. Caxias do Sul throughout the match.
