Binjamin Specht took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tony Guimarães. C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Canteranos Fc fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Canteranos Fc's Xurxo Lagala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xurxo Lagala. Xurxo Lagala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Lagala in the 24th minute of the match. Erubiel Cambranes came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo. But to his dismay, Teodoro Primo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Tony Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xurxo Lagala's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Xurxo Lagala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tony Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Xurxo Lagala slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 34th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Xurxo Lagala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Piet Goemyne struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canteranos Fc. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagala in the 43rd minute of play. Piet Goemyne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Tony Guimarães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the game, Federico Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canteranos Fc the free kick. 46 minutes into the game, one of C. A. Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute, Canteranos Fc got a penalty, and Cordarius Hornilla placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Primo to make the kick off. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurxo Lagala, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagala in the 54th minute of play. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Pombal came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canteranos Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarius Hornilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Canteranos Fc's Wanderson Pombal in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. Wanderson Pombal scored 8-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Canteranos Fc were the better team. Canteranos Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
