In the 10th minute, Halis Başarman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Handanovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aykan Şatıroğlu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jan Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Büyükçekmece FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samir Handanovič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Persson came free, but Samir Handanovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baturay Seralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erol Suer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 23rd minute of play forced Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Samir Handanovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ziemowit Soroka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erol Suer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Soroka in the 26th minute of play. Samir Handanovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Korkutalp Sanih got a free kick in the 41st minute. Erol Suer came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Ziemowit Soroka. But to his dismay, Ziemowit Soroka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

He walked away shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Persson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samir Handanovič saved Tarsus İdman Yurdu from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 65th minute of play forced Tarsus İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Samir Handanovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Korkutalp Sanih in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Bayezit Macit. 86 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baturay Seralp came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samir Handanovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Bayezit Macit fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarsus İdman Yurdu's protests and gave Bayezit Macit a yellow card for diving instead. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Samir Handanovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Persson in the 93rd minute of play. Büyükçekmece FC.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
