The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gualterio Jaunti thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sebastián Torrico, a very annoying self made goal in the 4th minute which led to 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Cordero got free with Roman Shantala in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Shantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Savier came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Topo Riquelme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roman Shantala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladislao Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Freddie Ljungberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Shantala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Cordero in the 30th minute of play forced Alpachiri AFC's goalkeeper Roman Shantala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Alpachiri AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Almajan. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Txilar in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Santiago Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Patricio Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpachiri AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Bartolome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Txilar to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Cido Araújo from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Sebastián Torrico's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Savier, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Alpachiri AFC's Ladislao Savier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastián Torrico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Emiliano Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Shantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Santiago Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Torrico having to interfere. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Txilar in the 71st minute of the match. Emiliano Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Alpachiri AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Cordero came free, but Roman Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Santiago Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emiliano Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the C.F.Fuenlabrada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Cordero couldn't finish the play. Roman Shantala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
