The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Sporting Angola's Leo Gelmiro threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Tomiczek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Abel Estavan hit a great ball. Pegaso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Ubaldo Goyanes scored to the left of an out of position Leo Gelmiro, making the score, 1-0. Efren Dobale kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ubaldo Goyanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ubaldo Goyanes sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Wüllbier in the 22nd minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Leo Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Claus Wüllbier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Gelmiro. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 45th minute, Ubaldo Goyanes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Gelmiro. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Goyanes made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Sporting Angola got a freekick which was hit by Claus Wüllbier. The supporters of Sporting Angola booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pegaso's Abel Estavan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fabian Tomiczek scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Gelmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ciro Coscia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Gelmiro was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 90th minute of the match Sporting Angola got a corner. Pegaso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Angola fully deserved thier win.
