The audience was convinced that Paraskevas Theofanidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kleanthis Stefanis was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 7 played minutes Leondαqwki got a freekick which was hit by Achilleas Panagakis. 8 minutes in the game Vassilis Sismanidis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Giorgos Bochonis. Akis Pefanis scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Panos Panagoulias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to dfs getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Makis Peponas hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Makis Peponas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panos Panagoulias. Leondαqwki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Makis Peponas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, dfs's Makis Peponas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panos Panagoulias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, dfs's Charis Karatasos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Panagoulias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Makis Poursaitidis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makis Peponas in the 32nd minute of play forced Leondαqwki's goalkeeper Panos Panagoulias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, dfs's goal looked a bit too open when Paraskevas Theofanidis came free, but Kleanthis Stefanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, dfs's Akis Pefanis got a free kick in the 34th minute. Giorgos Solomos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kleanthis Stefanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. dfs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Lambros Louverdis scored to the left of an out of position Kleanthis Stefanis, making the score, 1-3. Makis Poursaitidis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Charis Panopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. dfs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charis Panopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
Argyris Melas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kleanthis Stefanis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leondαqwki. 54 minutes into the game, Leondαqwki's Paraskevas Theofanidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleanthis Stefanis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Charis Karatasos struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Panos Panagoulias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dfs. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makis Peponas got free with Panos Panagoulias in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Akis Pefanis charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akis Pefanis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leondαqwki booed when dfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Pefanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Solomos took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kleanthis Stefanis. Kleanthis Stefanis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Panos Panagoulias came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by dfs's Charis Karatasos. But to his dismay, Charis Karatasos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. dfs's Kleanthis Stefanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paraskevas Theofanidis in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, dfs's Panos Karagiozis got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Makis Peponas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panos Panagoulias. Leondαqwki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Makis Peponas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. In the 85th minute, Panos Karagiozis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lambros Louverdis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Leondαqwki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lambros Louverdis couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, dfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleftherios Bolirakis to maneuver through the defense. Loukianos Ntountas made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Charis Karatasos however managed to control. In the 94th minute Akis Pefanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Panagoulias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Leondαqwki supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching dfs's performance. The match ended with a win for dfs.
