Kleanthis Stefanis came out of the goal and Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kleanthis Stefanis came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Vafiochorion FaC's Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos. But to his dismay, Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Kleanthis Stefanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Charis Panopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eugenios Blikas to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute, Nestoras Pentedekas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the dfs defense, Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kleanthis Stefanis. The dfs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kleanthis Stefanis should have stopped the shot. Eugenios Blikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Panopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Makis Peponas made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in dfs's zone, Fotis Sapounas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleanthis Stefanis came out of the goal and Fotis Sapounas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charis Karatasos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eugenios Blikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Stefanis having to interfere. After 68 played minutes dfs got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Panagiotoulis. In the 71st minute, Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Kleanthis Stefanis. dfs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestoras Pentedekas got free with Kleanthis Stefanis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Makis Peponas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akis Pefanis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eugenios Blikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dfs. Akis Pefanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eugenios Blikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akis Pefanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenios Blikas having to interfere. When Manos Vasilarakos came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Vafiochorion FaC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manos Vasilarakos couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, dfs's goal looked a bit too open when Nektarios Mantalakis came free, but Kleanthis Stefanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleanthis Stefanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nektarios Mantalakis in the 92nd minute of play. Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kleanthis Stefanis came out and tried to block the shot, but Lazaros Bakogiannopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vafiochorion FaC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
