The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Paraskevas Theofanidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Thomas Panagiotopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Paraskevas Theofanidis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Balaskaíika asFC's Tolis Vrachopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panos Panagoulias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolis Vrachopoulos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Balaskaíika asFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Chatzis to maneuver through the defense. Alekos Kopanaras kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolis Vrachopoulos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panos Panagoulias saved Leondαqwki from getting behind. Iraklis Prionas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 36th match minute, Leondαqwki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Bochonis to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Panagiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stergios Kasimatis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Alexis Chrisopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgos Solomos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Panagiotopoulos having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Giorgos Bochonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paraskevas Theofanidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Thomas Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Theofanidis in the 53rd minute of play. Balaskaíika asFC's Thomas Panagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Solomos in the 56th minute of play. Paraskevas Theofanidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Thomas Panagiotopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paraskevas Theofanidis in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Balaskaíika asFC's Tolis Thomaidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Panos Panagoulias. That made the score 1-1 after 73 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lambros Louverdis in the 76th minute of play forced Balaskaíika asFC's goalkeeper Thomas Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Balaskaíika asFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Stathis Potiras hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes, Leondαqwki's Paraskevas Theofanidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomas Panagiotopoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leondαqwki reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolis Thomaidis in the 85th minute of play forced Leondαqwki's goalkeeper Panos Panagoulias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Panagiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paraskevas Theofanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 91 played minutes Leondαqwki got a freekick which was hit by Paraskevas Theofanidis. If Giorgos Solomos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Stergios Kasimatis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
