In the 10th match minute, Andijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djabir Brahimi to maneuver through the defense. If Makis Peponas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akis Pefanis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Mourad Mansouri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andijon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Akis Pefanis's late challenge caught a Andijon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akis Pefanis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to dfs getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Akis Pefanis hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Mohamed Matoub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Stefanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charis Panopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rabah Timsit came out and tried to block the shot, but Charis Panopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. The wind increased when Makis Peponas made the kick off in the second half. Kassel Bougherra took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kleanthis Stefanis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Panopoulos in the 58th minute of play forced Andijon's goalkeeper Rabah Timsit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
