Andreas Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Alström in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Mats Hermansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kent Näver saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 14 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Valrot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INIXET BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. Jan-Ove Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The Kent Näver was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. INIXET BK's Kent Näver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save INIXET BK from getting a goal against them. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernan Berart in the 34th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Hugo Eden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kent Näver in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Peder Alström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 38th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kalfhage, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Hugo Eden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Eden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Hermansson in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. INIXET BK's Kent Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hermansson in the 74th minute of play. Kent Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Mutumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vykans Vikingar fans cheered their team off the field, for while INIXET BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
