Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaj Hård took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Hård to maneuver through the defense. Lars Norberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alf Hansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Lars Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Ted Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Lars Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. Alf Hansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lars Norberg could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Söderberg in the 15th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Söderberg took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Askberg. Kalle Askberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lars Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Hansson in the 23rd minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Ted Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in spikarna's zone, Erland Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Norberg came out of the goal and Erland Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Kaj Hård had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Hård was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Hansson was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Holmgren in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Norberg saved spikarna from getting behind. In the 55th minute of the match Sundborn IF got a corner. spikarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Olof Stephansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven-Olof Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ted Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Hansson in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Nordkvist. Atakan Pepe hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev was substituted for Alf Hansson. Atakan Pepe kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Kaloyan Mitashev came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 71st minute of play. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Kvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Erland Kvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaloyan Mitashev in the 77th minute of play. Erland Kvist made a great header on Sundborn IF's corner, it was just that spikarna's Lars Norberg managed to reach the ball for a save. 81 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Kvist came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Erland Kvist made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Norberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaloyan Mitashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by spikarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Olof Stephansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundborn IF's players had a chance to rest. Kaj Hård hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
