Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven de Zwaan got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Michal Stehno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Stehno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Máximo Kirchner to score against Rigoberto Nazario in Argentinos Juniors's goal. 0-1 after 10 minutes. Rigoberto Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Michal Stehno sped through Argentinos Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Nazario. Michal Stehno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Waldemar Okopny came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Okopny couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Eguzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 38th minute. Michal Stehno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Stehno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, Michal Stehno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Nazario came out of the goal and Michal Stehno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michal Stehno made a kick off. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Máximo Kirchner kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Argentinos Juniors from getting a goal against them. Michal Stehno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Rigoberto Nazario skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The attack was good, but when Michal Stehno in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. When Denis Mero fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentinos Juniors's protests and gave Denis Mero a yellow card for diving instead. Argentinos Juniors made a substitution. Ruperto Matei replaced Denis Mero. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Bâru in the 82nd minute of play. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Argentinos Juniors from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Nazario. Argentinos Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Bâru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 92nd minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 95th minute of the match. The Unidad de Matanza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Unidad de Matanza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
