In the 8thth minute of the game Ediberto Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ediberto Mazza in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio de Medeiros saved Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Chu Liang Ping had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sydney Bittencourt. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chu Liang Ping was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros got control of the ball when Edmílson Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 19 minutes on the clock, Anísio Quirino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Barcellos Mineiro FC:s Geovânio de Medeiros showed great skill when he stopped Reinaldo de Carvalho:s penalty. 1-1 came in the 22nd minute when Reinaldo de Carvalho all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Geovânio de Medeiros. 24 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Montenegro came free, but Geovânio de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovânio de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Wellington Montenegro. But to his dismay, Wellington Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ediberto Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovânio de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Lara's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Reinaldo de Carvalho took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovânio de Medeiros. Geovânio de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Geovânio de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, João Francisco Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcellos Mineiro FC the free kick. A collision led to IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. João Francisco Abreu hit a great ball. Sydney Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chu Liang Ping in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Edmílson Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 72 minutes into the match, Edmílson Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio de Medeiros. Barcellos Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Caetano Toscano was substituted for Guga Capixaba. In the 77th match minute, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Abraão to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Caetano Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sydney Bittencourt. Sydney Bittencourt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Wesley Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s goalkeeper Sydney Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Toscano. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Mazza in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ fully deserved thier win.
