Valério Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Waldemar Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jânio Esteves came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Celso Teles. But to his dismay, Celso Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 18 minutes of play, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Mané de Azevedo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jânio Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Dedê Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Jânio Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarcisio Saraiva during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê Moreno made a kick off. The supporters of Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ booed when BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jânio Esteves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mané de Azevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 57 minute of play. Jânio Esteves made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Celso Teles sent off a good shot on target. Abel Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 75 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Moreno came free, but Jânio Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê Moreno charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedê Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Celso Teles from a close distance when the talented Jânio Esteves managed to make a qualified save. Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's players were relieved. 87 minutes into the match, Dedê Moreno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jânio Esteves, 1-7. After a rather tough play, Gigante da Colina FC-DMZ's Washington Mangueira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
