Stanislaw Gargasz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Generoso Gaxan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Grzegorz Olszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Kaider in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ireland 1921's zone, Kacper Hazard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Gaxan came out of the goal and Kacper Hazard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ireland 1921 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Generoso Gaxan was a little too slow when Marko Vooro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Generoso Gaxan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute Frank Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Olszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ireland 1921's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
