Ritchie Stansfield made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Unndór Takeris sent off a good shot on target. Vagn Kildebro in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Ritchie Stansfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Bundy in the 32nd minute of play. Al Bundy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ritchie Stansfield made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Randkleve's goal looked a bit too open when Blažej Blazejowski came free, but Lucjan Sedzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Randkleve's zone, Pedro Cucao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Sedzikowski came out of the goal and Pedro Cucao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Ritchie Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Hui Qi in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Hui Qi in the 43rd minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Randkleve booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Szpakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Liu Hui Qi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ritchie Stansfield saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pedro Cucao's late challenge caught a Randkleve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Cucao helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Pedro Cucao got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unndór Takeris in the 54th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Ayuntamiento CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Ayuntamiento CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
