Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Aral in the 11th minute of play. Emiliano Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Karol Borowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Erauso was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Emiliano Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cain Velasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Emanuel Lucila fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Despidida AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emanuel Lucila hit a great ball. Toro Martínez scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Erauso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alijilán returns's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
