If Ancho Branca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Chen Ao Fan took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Fernando Selatse to make any attempt to save it. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Toro Martínez scored 1-6 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Norström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kees Harmsen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Erik Norström having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde AIK's zone, Toro Martínez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Norström came out of the goal and Toro Martínez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. Vladimir de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Tino in the 63rd minute of play. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Pastor Tino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Erik Norström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Pastor Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Norström having to interfere. Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 73rd minute. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Erik Norström made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pastor Tino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Tino in the 83rd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Norström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Velasco went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 87th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Tino in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. A hard shot 91 in the game by Emiliano Velasco from a close distance when the talented Karl-Erik Norström managed to make a qualified save. Skövde AIK's players were relieved. In the 92nd minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. The Skövde AIK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Despidida AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
