Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Pay in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Vânderson Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willian Pay made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Willian Pay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petr Čech. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willian Pay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Habsburgo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
