Carlos Cesaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Osoro having to make a save. In the 12th minute Carlos Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 18th minute of the match. If Carlos Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Tirso in the 34th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Qiang Xiao in the 36th minute of the match. MARTINETA were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Boquenses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lv Qiang Xiao took the corner. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Boquenses's Teobaldo Oier was substituted for Rodrigo Ferdinand. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Sancho made a kick off. In the 85th minute, MARTINETA's Lv Qiang Xiao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tobias Osoro. Tobias Osoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Oier in the 87th managed to get into a good position. Lv Qiang Xiao shot from long distance after 90 played minutes, a shot that Tobias Osoro with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. The Boquenses manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing MARTINETA to win.
