Fabiano Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Erivaldo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Leonards Štucers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Maurinho Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piaui's protests and gave Maurinho Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Piaui got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Magalhães. In the 24th minute, Everett Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Fabiano Pimenta. Piaui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Gerber in the 27th minute of play forced Piaui's goalkeeper Fabiano Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo de Lima hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Piaui getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marcus Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Everett Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurdin Pena got free with Fabiano Pimenta in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Carlos Fernando de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Joachim Incera notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Piaui's Fabiano Pimenta. Fabiano Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Joachim Incera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabiano Pimenta, 6-0. In the 47th minute, Ezequiel Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Xurdin Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Pimenta having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Xurdin Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melandru de Cenero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Piaui's Fabiano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Gerber in the 63rd minute of play. Melandru de Cenero's Andrea Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho de Barros in the 65th minute of play. Piaui's Fabiano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Gerber in the 67th minute of play. Fabiano Pimenta came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Melandru de Cenero's Xurdin Pena. But to his dismay, Xurdin Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. A collision led to Piaui getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. André Luís Castro hit a great ball. Joachim Incera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fabiano Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Everett Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Everett Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Xurdin Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Pimenta. Fabiano Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Incera, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Piaui's Fabiano Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurdin Pena in the 96th minute of play. 13-0 became the score in the 98th minute when Everett Gerber elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Melandru de Cenero had played much better football throughout.
