Andy Cole might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Di Lullo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Milen Kúlvachev made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 13th minute Lokon Pøhl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lokon Pøhl in the 14th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lokon Pøhl in the 24th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes, Andy Cole made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Attilio Fortunato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Floresta Negra FC's Milen Kúlvachev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 43rd minute, Lokon Pøhl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 46th minute, Andy Cole left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lokon Pøhl got free with Aurelio Di Lullo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 57th minute, Andy Cole ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Jardel Lewandowski got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-11 in the right cross in the 66th match minute before Aurelio Di Lullo had time to react. If Jardel Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Lokon Pøhl. But to his dismay, Lokon Pøhl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel Lewandowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Di Lullo. That made the score 0-13 in the 75 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. That made the score 0-14 after 78 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Jardel Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Jardel Lewandowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. Jardel Lewandowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jardel Lewandowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-18 in the 94th minute. Floresta Negra FC played a much better game than Valdieri and deserved their victory. The Valdieri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
