Alberto Andreola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alberto Andreola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Tande in the 8th minute of the match. Anfilogino Di Santo's late challenge caught a Várzea F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Di Santo helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Di Santo. Valdieri's Alberto Andreola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Licerio in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Delmiro Licerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Andreola. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Andreola should have stopped the shot. When Jude Monkhouse came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Várzea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jude Monkhouse couldn't finish the play. Alberto Andreola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 17th minute of the match. Rogério Saldanha took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Andreola. Alberto Andreola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Valdieri's Alberto Andreola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Monkhouse in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Anderson Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Andreola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Di Santo to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Anderson Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Andreola. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Várzea F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Várzea F.C.'s Anderson Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto Andreola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco Tande went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, Várzea F.C.'s Delmiro Licerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Andreola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Tande in the 40th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Andreola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Saldanha went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Ippoliti during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Eraldo Ippoliti got a free kick in the 48th minute. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Eraldo Ippoliti hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jude Monkhouse was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Delmiro Licerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Andreola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Delmiro Licerio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Andreola. That made the score 0-10 in the 59 minute of play. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aloísio Secco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Valdieri's Alberto Andreola got control of the ball when Anderson Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Stefano. Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte was substituted for Delmiro Licerio. Várzea F.C.'s Dé Montenegro was substituted for Jude Monkhouse. After 70 minutes of play, Várzea F.C.'s Valdomiro Duarte made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Andreola was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Anderson Paiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dé Montenegros short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Alberto Andreola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dé Montenegro had several of the Valdieri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Alberto Andreola as he didn't even see the shot coming. Valdomiro Duarte scored 0-14 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Andreola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Montenegro. Valdomiro Duarte scored 0-15 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Andreola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Andreola was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Anderson Paiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anderson Paiva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. With his leg Alberto Andreola managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Várzea F.C.'s Anderson Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Di Santo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 94th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Alberto Andreola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Valdieri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Várzea F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
