An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 5th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chico Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Xiong Hong in the 8th minute of play. Abel Ramalho took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Donato. Chico Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute, one of Ricart Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ricart Futebol Clube. 17 minutes into the game, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lopes in the 25th minute of the match. Abel Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, José Augusto Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ricart Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when DIPLOMATA FC PAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Ricart Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Doron Bantz went to the cornerflag to take it. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Ramalho took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Donato. Chico Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Christian Carrier was substituted for Kenny Rothwell. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Hori in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Hori in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Donato saved DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting behind. Eusebio Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Eusebio Hori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere. Ricart Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
