In the 16th minute, Florian Capasso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Allan Varela. The goal made the score 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Paulo Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Florian Capasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 38th minute of play. Palestra do Interior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hudson Sergipano in the 41st minute. The corner ended in Paulo Godoi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon did a great save. Fabian Meleșcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Capasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro-Facundo Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Godoi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Paulo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Mauro-Facundo Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was substituted for Hudson Sergipano. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lago got free with Mauro-Facundo Buffon in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
