The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Wiliam Mello hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Dean Harvey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gui Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slaveyko Neev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 16th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Szkaradek in the 21st minute of the match. Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaveyko Neev, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Gui Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Wieslaw Szkaradek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Szkaradek in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Slaveyko Neev came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naldo Diniz made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Ture Möllgren. 41 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Szkaradek came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes in the game Naldo Diniz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Váldson Paiva. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A sloppy throw-in by Dinei Mendonça in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Sten Andrejević. Nildo da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gui Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Gelmiro Ocaña got a free kick in the 96th minute.
